I can tell you right now that you need to be willing to spend 80-160 dollars for a complete skateboard. Its easier to learn when you have better equipment. Dont bother going to Target or Walmart for a bargain because these boards wont last. The parts are poorly made and the materials are unreliable. Your first board needs to last. My first setup lasted for over a year before I bought a new one. You might go through a few decks but your trucks wheels and bearing should last a while. Go to your local skateshop or shop online
